Tamaron’s Promise Me

Promise is a singleton puppy so to say she was spoiled right from day would be an understatement! If it was destined to be a single puppy litter then at least the only puppy was exactly what I wanted- a tri factored sable rough girl! Promise was named the day she was born…partly from her mom’s name but also because of her heritage. With Am Ch. Blossom Hill Full Circle (Cinnamon) and Am Ch. Blossom Hill Barely Bronze(Hal) in her pedigree so often, there is an awful lot of “promise” in there!
Sassy and cheeky right from the get-go, Promise ruled the roost early. Because she was a singleton, she was allowed to be with the “yard dogs” instead of in the kennel. So, she was rubbing shoulders with her BIS, MNBOV Am/Can Ch. dad Kennedy, her NBOS, SBOS Ch. mom Jasmine and her Ch. HIC grandpa Edge and sleeping with them in the house from the time she was 8weeks old. She would walk underneath them when she wanted to go somewhere and they were in the way, use any one of them as a pillow if she was tired, chew on their feet if she was hungry or bored, bite their legs or tail if she wanted to play, bark at them if she wanted something or just look at them if she wanted them to pay attention to her. Even grandpa Edge, who does NOT care for puppies, would lay down for her to climb on him. She is special and she sure knows it! Even the whippets defer to her and my whippet girl Jill does not defer to ANY other dog!
Promise is a tri-factored sable rough. She has the sweetest expression, gorgeous eye, very full underjaw, full dentition, and a scissors bite. She has a head smooth as glass, perfectly parallel planes and a perfectly placed stop. Promise has a long, nicely arched neck which blends smoothly into her shoulders, great shoulder layback and a nicely angulated rear. She is very sound coming and going and gaits with her head up, eyes going back and forth to see who is watching her. She is full of life, like her mom, loves everyone and everything and truly does feel we were put on this earth for her amusement. When you see her, you will agree…..
At her debut the first weekends of Feb 2011, at the age of 7 months, Promise took a huge 4 point BW under judge Ramon Podesta her very first day in the ring. She captivated the judges, spectators and other exhibitors with her little "happy feet". We are looking forward to both Nationals this year with this little girl
